Kathleen T. Terry

Kathleen Terry, founder of Participative Management Systems, is a specialist in developing and using teams for achieving bottom-line results. Prior to applying her management skills and expertise within her own consulting firm, Kathleen worked with education, government, industry, and healthcare. Kathleen graduated with honors from University of Illinois in Psychology and Education and she holds a certificate in Managing in Multicultural Work Environments from California State University, Fullerton.  She also completed a four-week program in Intercultural Communication at the University of Oregon, and holds a Masters in Psychology: Concentration in Multicultural Relations from Antioch University.

Kathleen is well known for her high-impact seminars and workshops based on the most critical issues facing managers and supervisors in the 1990's. She has presented programs both nationally and internationally to organizations as diverse as high-tech firms, local and metropolitan city and county governments, leading defense/aerospace contractors and major health management organizations. As a result of her work in the areas of productivity and employee participation, she was accepted into Who's Who in California.

Ms. Terry also designed and facilitated the team building and group problem solving seminars which are integral components of the Technical Management Certificate Program offered by the California Institute of Technology Industrial Relations Center for employees of Northrop Grumman.  Her expertise in facilitation is demonstrated by her facilitation of two leadership programs within the City of Manhattan Beach and Pasadena

She is comfortable helping organizations create successful work teams, as well as equipping supervisors, managers and employees with "nuts-and-bolts" tools to function successfully on the job through her dynamic consulting and training sessions.

Ms. Terry has traveled extensively to over 29 countries, and has presented training in the Philippines, England, Singapore, Belgium, and India .

Kathleen has been a Training Clinic instructor for over 15 years.
