EFFECTIVE PRESENTATIONS
(a one-day workshop)
Plan and give a more effective presentation. Two-three practice presentations are done with critique and feedback from peers and the instructor. Class is limited to 12 participants to due frequent practice presentations. This workshop is designed to help the staff person, manager or executive persuasively present an idea, product or service to the internal or external customer.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
At the end of the training, you will be able to:
- Identify the strengths and weaknesses in their current presentation skills
- Use 20 strategies to overcome fear of speaking before a group
- Recognize specific delivery skills and tactics that will enhance their presentations
- Describe the difference between a topic and the purpose of a presentation and be able to narrow the subject of a presentation to match their audience analysis
- Prepare to make dynamic presentations
- Identify how to capture participant interest from the beginning
- List different ways to organize their material
- Identify how to end a presentation with impact
- Use Presentation Planning Template for future use
- Create a personal action plan for continued self-development
